Nescafé Classic is giving you a special cup of coffee and skills to keep you on your grind this Mandela Day at WITS where Google’s chief marketing officer Mzamo Masito will be talking about his personal journey and how he stays afloat.

Last week the campaign featured Dj and entrepreneur- DJ Zinhle who was at UKZN, Westville campus who had this to say.

“Mentorship is your initiative and you just using someone as a vehicle to get to what you want. It is your responsibility.”

As part of Nescafé’ This is your grind campaign, a mobile coffee shop will be placed on campus and they’ll be serving bold and strong Nescafé Classic coffee and empowering ambitious youth on the journey to fulfil their dreams through engaging motivational grind sessions.

You can grab yourself a Nescafe coffee to give you the motivation and strength you need to push through in your career at the University of the Witwatersrand (WITS) tomorrow, 18 July 2019 between 13:00 pm and 14:00 pm with Mzamo Masito.

These sessions will continue throughout July and August with the University of Johannesburg (UJ), University of Pretoria (UP), University of Cape Town (UCT), and Boston Media House coming up.

The aim is to create a network of opportunities and skills for job hunting through a partnership of Nescafé and LinkedIn Business consultants who’ll provide students with technical know-how, knowledge and tools required to manoeuvre in their careers.

According to Nescafé, LinkedIn has more than 500 million professional profiles and an unlimited supply of network opportunities which makes it a leader in the employment world. Through the grind sessions they’ll highlight the importance of optimising your LinkedIn profile, creating a resume that will attract employers and becoming a leader in your industry.

The brand prides itself in understanding that the youth is at a stage marked by what may seem like a long tedious journey and they want to encourage youth to trust the process and understand the importance of endurance hence the campaign will guide perspective, champion strong minds and inspire a positive spirit.

By means of a whatsapp bot, students will further be invited to build a network of support where further conversations of motivation, support and available opportunities will occur.

Lastly, Nescafé will also offer signature red mugs that are up for grabs. By keeping on their grind, in whatever respective right that may be, students will have an opportunity to take home a cup that will hold and represent their strength.

-The campaign mirrors the winning spirit of the youth, who remain the generation with power to change the world. Today, the ways of participation, freedom and access to resources for young people has since transformed. However, the common factor remains – their desire to have a better life and the will to create it for themselves. NESCAFÉ CLASSIC plays a big role in the realization of their dreams and serves as a pillar through which the youth can excel.
