Raphael Saadiq, Corinne Bailey Rae, Tiwa Savage will be heading to our shores for the DStv Delicious Festival in September.

Dubbed the most epic line-up to date, Saadiq, the epithet of ‘Old school Rhythm & Blues was announced as one of the headliners for the 2019 DStv Delicious International Food and Music Festival among other international and African artists like Shekinah, Lira and many more.

Saadiq who’s worked with artists like Macy Gray, the late Whitney Houston, John Legend, Snoop Dogg, Joss Stone, Lionel Richie, Mary J. Blige will be joined by artists such as the Grammy Award-winning British singer and songwriter, Corinne Bailey Rae of The Heart Speaks in Whispers, and from Lagos to Jozi, Tiwa Savage, the African rising star, Roc Nation affiliate, the beauty and voice Emtee features on Me And You will headline the festival.

Finally, to add that special local Flavour, a host of Kalawa Jazmee artists TBA will complete the world class line-up to celebrate Heritage Weekend at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit in Midrand on the 21st and 22nd of September.

The two-day biggest music and food fest kicks off with a celebration of 25 years of Kalawa Jazmee Records. The biggest influencers of the South African music culture with artists like Boom Shaka, Mafikizolo, Thebe, and Brothers of Peace.

Other artists set to performance on the Delicious Main Stage on Saturday, 21st September are the Ralf Gum All Stars featuring Monique Bingham, Mafikizolo, Kafele Bandele, Portia Monique, Ayanda Jiya, Bongi Mvuyana, Joseph Junior, and Nivalito.

And the next day, 22nd of September, promises to be exhilarating and soothing at the same time with a classic performance by Raphael Saadiq. The Grammy Award-winning legend set to release new music since eight years will headline the Sunday Delicious Main Stage.

On the same day you can also expect performances by Ralf Gum All Stars, the “Suited” smash-hit singer Shekinah, the ever graceful Lira, and Tortured Soul featuring Lisa Shaw will bring you to your feet with their hits “Don’t Hold Me Down” and “Enjoy It Now”.
