South Africa’s top vocal talent come together in support of South Africa’s first all gay choir to celebrate pride month. This stellar line-up of Kelly Khumalo, Brenda Mthambo, Wanda Baloyi, Amstel Dramatic Diva and Morena The Squire and will join the Mzansi Gay Choir to perform some of their popular songs at Baseline this Friday, 28 October 2017 themed Freedom by You.
The Mzansi Gay Choir is South Africa’s very first gay musical ensemble consisting of 20 talented young men who represent the richly diverse, creative and musical side of South Africa’s gay culture and community. This will be their first performance to a paid audience of some of their popular renditions including their latest single Let Me Be which was released earlier this month.
“The choir is a combination of diverse personalities coming together to create something as unique as they are; and with this concert we have local artist joining and standing together in support of the LGBTI community.” said Thami Kotlolo, Founder of the Thami Dish Foundation.
