Owami Women Brand SA Play Your Part Recognition

Owami women and Brand South Africa bring you the second annual Owami Women, Brand SA Play Your Part Recognition Event.  This event is aimed at celebrating women who transcend their personal circumstances to play their part and give back to their communities.  It is this spirit of selflessness that builds nations.

Therefore, on South Africa’s annual commemoration of Heritage Day, 24th September, Brand South Africa and Owami Women will come together  to award and give recognition to ordinary women that have continuously played their Part in their own communities. The areas of focus will be Education, Skills Development, Enterprenurship, and Women Empowerment.

This initiative is aimed at building a spirit of pride and patriotism amongst South African citizens.  Women are change agents and Owami Women and Brand South Africa would like to encourage a change in how we contribute to building our country through the amazing women of this country. The day will see phenomenal women from different paths  of life come together to embrace and celebrate heritage day, but most importantly, each other in conversations around what affects them and  that which touches their lives most.

A range of inspirational women will interact with participants and award winners will  receive special recognition awards on the day. Speakers will also highlight the efforts and initiatives they take to play their part in making South Africa, a country we can all be proud of.  Entertainment by Presss former 101 pop star group member and Roots 2000 will be enjoyed throughout the day. A 4 night stay in Mauritius for 2 persons will  be given away to a lucky winner who will enjoy 2 nights at the Hilton Mauritius Resort & Spa and 2 nights stay at Intercontinental Mauritius Resort.
