The beauty retail landscape in South Africa has been transformed by the arrival of ARC’s flagship store in Sandton City — a 3,200 square metre cathedral of cosmetics and skin care that represents the largest dedicated beauty retail space on the African continent.

“We have always believed that African consumers deserve access to the same quality and range that is available in Paris or New York,” says ARC CEO Thandi Vilakazi.

In-store services include everything from express blow-dries and nail treatments to comprehensive skin consultations with qualified dermatologists. A hair salon on the upper mezzanine level is staffed by specialists in Afro and textured hair.
