Hey there, Neighbours! Get ready to celebrate the good times at the ultimate lifestyle experience – Hey Neighbour. We are thrilled to announce the official Phase Three line-up for the upcoming festival, and we have some exciting news to share: Heineken® has come on board as the headline partner, bringing a whole new level of excitement and energy to the event.

As we gear up to celebrate its 150th birthday, Heineken has chosen to share the festivities with everyone who is passionate about music, art, and culture. This partnership perfectly aligns with Hey Neighbour’s mission of turning strangers into Neighbours and fostering connections. Together, we aim to break down barriers and create unforgettable experiences.

Heineken’s commitment to promoting inclusivity, diversity, and sustainability through good times deeply resonates with Hey Neighbour’s values. This partnership represents a shared commitment to fostering a global community that values music, art, and culture. It’s all about celebrating unity, and that’s precisely what we intend to do.

To amplify the festive season’s good times, Heineken® is taking the festival to Africa with a continentwide campaign that will make Hey Neighbour a household name across ten African markets. These locations include Mozambique, Ivory Coast, Ethiopia, and Nigeria, among others. With Heineken as a trusted partner, Hey Neighbour will be a festival that the African continent can experience, own, and be proud of. The intent is to be at the same magnitude as the likes of iconic international festivals like Coachella.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to have Heineken® on board as our presenting partner,” says Warren Le Grange, Hey Neighbour Festival Director. “This partnership is all about celebrating good times and unity, which aligns perfectly with the spirit of Hey Neighbour.”

Heineken’s Marketing Manager at HEINEKEN Beverages, Marcel Swain, adds, “Celebrating 150 years with a festival of this magnitude only seems fitting in the spirit of Mzansi. We are elevating the celebrations with this partnership by allowing everyone to enjoy good times with Heineken®, one way or another.”

But that’s not all, Neighbours! We have some more exciting news to share. We are set to announce the third and final phase of the festival’s line-up, which promises a combination of the country’s biggest current exports, African legends, and more sensational international talent. So, hold onto your hats because it’s about to get even more electrifying.

Joining the already toasty Neighbourhood, international hitmaker and jam-provider REMA joins the line-up alongside legendary South African acts Mafikizolo, Prime Circle, Zakes Bantwini, Black Motion, as well as Desmond and the Tutus.

Local favorites Mörda, Kelvin Momo, and DJ Zinhle have the decks on lock, alongside curated live performances from Sho Madjozi, Elaine, and Jamie-Lee Sexton.

For the hip-hop heads, BLXCKIE, Youngsta CPT, and A-REECE will hold it down, alongside newcomer Real Dan Duminy and Uncle Partytime on the one’s and two’s. Representing one of the biggest trending genres around the world, Amapiano royalty TXC, Daliwonga, Young Stunna, Tyler ICU, and Major League will be repping for the Yanos generation.

UK Rock superstars Nothing But Thieves have also been confirmed, along with thriving local alternative acts Majozi, Jeremy Loops, Monark, Max Hurrell, and the Plastics.

Hey Neighbour also welcomes a set of incredible brand partners joining the Hood, including Netflix, Axe, KitKat, Coke Studio, and Play.
