DStv customers were able to watch the renowned awards program live. On the much-loved blue carpet, local celebrities and delegates shone in their finest attire, ready to cheer on their contemporaries as they left with the prized statuettes. Everyone who took the stage to present an award, including Boity, Mpho Wabadimo, PH, Khutso Theledi, and Presely Chweneyagae, did so with good humor and a positive attitude. The host, Lawrence Maleka, had control of the situation.
Telkom, Kia, and Tanqueray gin from Diageo South Africa served as primary and associate sponsors, respectively.

Kamo Mphela, Tuks Senganga, Nomfundo Moh, and Zakes Bantwini all gave musical performances during the program that got the crowd dancing and in the mood to celebrate the achievement of the top South African entertainers.
