Sabrina Claudio Headlines LYFE Festival This December in Johannesburg

Y is the vibrant voice of Joburg’s youth culture. It is set to welcome summer with LYFE. This is the much-anticipated music event taking place on Saturday, 6 December at Marks Park, Emmarentia.

This year, LYFE will showcase an exclusive headline act by international R&B artist Sabrina Claudio. She is renowned for her smooth and captivating songs such as “Belong to You” and “Unravel Me.” She will be joined by South African favourites Lloyiso and Manana, a Swazi-born, Johannesburg-based singer and producer. Both artists are celebrated for their emotive vocal styles and thoughtful storytelling that resonates with audiences.

Complementing the main acts are YFM’s own talents. They include Rarri, Fif Laaa, DJ FaeFae, Just Mo, and others. This promises a day filled with lively performances and exceptional music.

Attendees can anticipate more than just live music. LYFE is a celebration of summer spirit. It blends sound, style, and the distinctive energy that defines YFM. It also embodies the city’s youthful culture. It is an event that captures the diversity and dynamism of Johannesburg’s music scene.

The festivities begin on Friday, 5 December with Club Y in Melville, setting the tone for the weekend ahead. Y’s Music Curator, Gcobisa Codi Dinca, remarks, “Summer is approaching. Y is preparing an outstanding lineup. They are combining style, music, and positive energy. It’s a celebration you won’t want to miss.”
