This fierce collaboration between Una Rams, Amunda, and Zanah Afrikan is a genre-defying celebration of freedom, energy, and unstoppable movement that captures the very essence of creative unity.

Born from the dynamic atmosphere of the 2024 AmaGroove camp, where artists were paired daily in studio sessions to spark fresh collaborations, the chemistry between Una Rams, Amunda, and Zanah Afrikan ignited instantly, resulting in an anthem that pulses with bold experimentation and electric multiculturalism.

Following the success of One Groove Label’s debut single, All Yours by Chipego, BOOM continues the momentum of this international music residency, which unites creatives from South Africa and Denmark. Hosted by One Groove and supported by partners including the Riky Rick Foundation, AUTOR, Nirox Foundation, Koda Kultur, and the Danish Foreign and Cultural Ministries, the project embodies artist-first values focused on ownership, equity, and creative freedom.

True to the spirit of AmaGroove, BOOM is a stomping, multilingual celebration, it defies categorization, blending electronic dance, old-school electro, and raw lyrical prowess. Each artist brings a distinct energy to the track, weaving verses in multiple languages, making it an infectious anthem that doesn’t just invite you to dance—it dares you to.

Amunda, an ARIA Award winner and SAY-nominated producer based in Denmark who crafted the initial beat, reflects: “BOOM is kind of a reflection of the One Groove camp. It’s about coming together, making music that makes you move—freedom, liberation, collaboration, and letting go.”

Grammy-winning South African singer-songwriter and producer Una Rams, who has worked with international stars like Idris Elba and Black Coffee, shares her take: “It’s about that youthful spirit… being free, living in the moment, and just wanting to dance.
