{"id":2529,"date":"2021-03-26T10:15:00","date_gmt":"2021-03-26T08:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/braamvibes.co.za\/?p=2529"},"modified":"2021-03-26T10:15:00","modified_gmt":"2021-03-26T08:15:00","slug":"heres-what-went-down-at-the-delightfullymzansi-virtual-cooking-showcase","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/braamvibes.co.za\/?p=2529","title":{"rendered":"Here&#8217;s what went down at the #DelightfullyMzansi Virtual Cooking Showcase"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To begin the Easter celebrations, the Braam Vibes team was invited to join South Africa\u2019s most loved brands NESTL\u00c9 RECIPES WITH LOVE, NESTL\u00c9 COCOA\u00a0and\u00a0NESTL\u00c9 KLIM for the Easter #DelightfullyMzansi\u00a0virtual cooking showcase\u00a0which took place on Thursday March 25 at Nestl\u00e9 cooking studios in\u00a0Bryanston.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The three iconic brands were the stars of the cooking showcase which was headed by Chef Sizwe&nbsp;Cebekhulu. The cook-off saw popular actor&nbsp;Nkuli&nbsp;Tshirumbula, and the much-lauded social media content creator Christo Thurston turning the heat as they, along with select media joining virtually, prepared delightful Easter meals&nbsp;to celebrate&nbsp;the four-day holiday.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-7387b849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-2 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\"><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/braamvibes.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/image004-683x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"2531\" class=\"wp-image-2531\"\/><\/figure><\/li><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/braamvibes.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/image005-2-683x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"2535\" data-full-url=\"https:\/\/braamvibes.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/image005-2-scaled.jpg\" data-link=\"https:\/\/braamvibes.co.za\/?attachment_id=2535\" class=\"wp-image-2535\"\/><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As palates rose in anticipation, the chemistry between the cooks was infectious as\u00a0they were trying to work out the recipes. It was evident\u00a0that they all\u00a0had\u00a0a genuine\u00a0passion for cooking and a desire to become better cooks,\u00a0if not for themselves then to delight their loved ones during special occasions. The beginning of the cook-off saw the cooks prepare a decadent chocolate pudding for dessert which was paired with a creamy\u00a0linefish\u00a0as the main course meal.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The action-packed showcase produced mouth-watering dishes and here are highlights:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/braamvibes.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/image002-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2530\"\/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>#DelighfullyMzansi was an action-packed showcase that produced mouth-watering dishes.
