Stay Comfortable. Drink Responsibly
About Southern Comfort:

Southern Comfort was created in 1874 by a New Orleans bartender, Martin Wilkes (M.W.) Heron. After experimenting with a variety of fruits, spices and other spirits, Heron struck on the perfect combination creating a one-of-a-kind blend of fruit, spices and American whiskey
Over 140 years ago, in a bar in old New Orleans, a legendary young bartender named M.W. Heron was looking for something new. He was tired of serving up the old school, neat, harsh whiskey of the day. The peeps at his bar were just as tired of drinking it. He wanted to create something better, something special. Something smoother and more delicious. Something

that no one had ever tasted before. So he blended a secret combination of fruits and spices into whiskey, sweetening it with a hint of honey and thus kicking off 140 awesome years of Southern Comfort. Almost a century and a half later, Southern Comfort has evolved into an award-winning, premium whiskey-inspired spirit. Smooth and versatile, enjoy it neat on the rocks

or blended with pretty much anything, from ginger ale to tizer. “None genuine but mine,” Mr. Heron declared, all those years ago. To this day his words ring true. Authentic, original, with a taste like no other. That’s Southern Comfort.
