LORA MUSE -MOTHER AND DAUGHTER BOUTIQUE OPENS IT’S DOORS
Lora Muse recently opened its doors in Fourways Mall, Johannesburg. The boutique’s competitive edge lies in a unique concept to focus on mother and daughter ready- to- wear dressing. Lora Muse offers sophisticated and versatile looks where daughter draws style influence from mother.
The store seeks to be the shopping destination of choice for the modern day and multifaceted African woman, who has a killer sense of effortless flair. Whether she’s heading to the boardroom or an event, her fashion choices are refined and chic. She is the first point of stylistic reference for her 7 to 14 year- old daughter. Therefore her preferences are timeless, polished and easy to wear as she seeks to ingrain these style ideals into her daughter’s fashion sense.
All clothing items are 100% designed by brilliant and creative local design talent. They are manufactured in South Africa, by highly skilled artisanswho have a wealth of fashion garment production knowledge and experience.
Currently, Lora Muse shoes are manufactured in and handbags sourced from Brazil, Italy and Spain.
The finest fabrics are sourced from different corners of the world, with a long- term goal of developing custom fabrics exclusive to Lora Muse.
Bold, statement- making colours, prints as well as fabrics and textures feature in the overall debut women’s clothing range. Think bright reds, pinks, greens, oranges and blues. Also making an appearance is floral prints, snake- skin prints, leopard prints, Dalmatian prints, and sequins, patent leather, croc, suede, diamante and laser cut detailing. These are off- set by neutral colours; whites, nudes, blacks, and tans.
Lora Muse brings high fashion as seen on international runways to the continent, yet tailors it to suit the African woman and her needs. The brand strives to ensure she feels bold and empowered, whether she is in her 30s, 40s or 50s, and at any size. The world is her runway and the Lora Muse woman should forever feel that way; whether she is carrying the bags, decked in the frocks or strutting in the shoes.
Silhouettes in the debut collection cater for all body shapes. Comfort is key for the wearer.
This great shopping experience will be extended to a soon- to- be launched online boutique. This will closely be followed by the release of the daughter range.
Pricing for the current launch collection ranges from R350 (for purses) to R5 000 (for shoes).
