She is currently pursuing a career as a solo artist and will be launching her album ‘Victory’ which was released last year in October, 2013.
She has worked tirelessly for four years on the ‘Victory’ album and indeed this launch is a milestone towards her victorious journey.
The ‘Victory’ album launch will be held on the 7th November 2014 at the Roodepoort Theatre (main theatre.) Tickets can be purchased online (www.roodepoorttheatre.com) at a cost of R150. The launch will begin at 19:00.
Tshedi was delegated, by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to be part and parcel of the Global Summit for Women in Paris, France, in June 2014, soon after completing her role as a Choir Master on the well loved and enjoyed choir competition show ‘Clash Of The Choirs’ season 2.
She was featured in the popular comedy series ‘Ga Re Dumele’, aired on the 19th October 2014, playing herself as a depressed fallen star in light of the awareness of October being Depression Awareness Month.
Tshedi has been busy with her own business, The Leopard Queen Network, dealing with events’ management. She has also been keeping busy with performing songs in various provinces and cities in South Africa.
She hosted auditions for up-and-comping artists (poets, solo/group vocalists, Tswana cultural dance groups, dancers, and Djs) at the Roodepoort Theatre (Basement theatre) on the 6th October 2014.
The Victory Album Launch is set to, not only kick start Tshedi Mholo’s career as a solo artist through the launch of her album Victory, but to benefit up-and-coming artists and all other staff members who will be involved in this production as this event will provide them all a platform to showcase their works in a professional environment. Therefore, the Victory Album Launch will provide opportunities for job creation, empowerment and development for all the relevant people who will involved in the production.
Tshedi believes in sharing her victorious day – the album launch – with up-and-coming artists who also have a dream and passion for the arts, music in particular, and wish to showcase their work on a professional platform.
We will all join in and share in the VICTORY!
As the classic and ever so true African Proverb says:
